Blind Spot Information System: IntelliSafe Surround can support you in busy traffic and when reversing where there’s restricted visibility. When a vehicle enters your blind spot or approaches rapidly in a lane on either side of your car, BLIS will alert you via a light in the left or right door mirror. If you don’t react to the warning and start to drift into the path of another vehicle, the Steer Assist function can gently assist you back into your lane.
The rear-mounted radar sensors continuously monitor your blind spots and a large area behind your car, day or night, and reacts to almost any type of vehicle, including motorcycles.

Driver Support Systems

IntelliSafe Assist (ACC + Pilot Assist): Included in the Volvo XC40’s supportive drive technologies, Adaptive Cruise Control and Pilot Assist, IntelliSafe Assist allows you to enjoy smooth driving from standstill up to motorway speeds.
Adaptive Cruise Control automatically helps you keep a set speed and distance to the vehicle in front of you, while Pilot Assist adds gentle steering support to help keep the car centred in its lane.
Please note: The driver is always responsible for how the car is controlled, as well as for maintaining the correct distance and speed, even when IntelliSafe Assist is being used. Driver support systems, such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Pilot Assist, are restricted in how much acceleration, braking and steering force they can apply.

Park Assist Pilot: The convenient Park Assist Pilot makes parking enjoyable. It measures the parking space, and if the space is at least 1.2 times the length of your car it can park by taking over the steering. Park Assist Pilot handles both parallel and perpendicular parking and can also assist when leaving a tight parallel parking space.

360º Camera: It is easy to park on busy city streets with the Volvo XC40, experience the differences with a 360-parking camera. An option that gives you a detailed bird’s eye view of the car, so you can see where you are in relation to other vehicles and objects.

The Volvo XC40 comes with a range of packs best suited for almost every customer. They have been intelligently designed around you, to make your life simpler.

For those who are very protective of their vehicle, Volvo offers the XC40 CAR PROTECTION PACK. This comes with a shaped plastic load compartment mat. With charcoal mats, a passenger compartment floor molded with plastic. This pack provides a long-lasting interior for your XC40.

If you seek a comfortable drive, then the XC40 SEAT PACK is definitely for you! It features a power-adjustable passenger seat and a mechanical cushion extension in the front seats. This would be ideal for those long trips!

When it comes to experiencing the XC40, the VERSATILITY PACK is a great option. This pack offers a power operated tailgate, foldable floor hatch with grocery bag holder. Power foldable rear headrests from centre stack display. Keyless entry with remote tag. Storage box under the driver seat. In essence, this pack compartmentalises your day-to-day activities in a more functional manner.

To make a visual statement, the XC40 LIGHT PACK is certain to illuminate your journey. You get fog lights in the front, including cornering lights, and a headlight high-pressure cleaning system. LED headlights high level with active bending and high-level Interior illumination.
